Abington “Little” Meetinghouse

Abington "Little" Meetinghouse

At the time of the Great Separation, the majority of the Abington Monthly Meeting was of the Hicksite persuasion,so they retained the original meeting property. The Orthodox branch built their own meeting house, known as “Little Abington” to distinguish it from the larger Hicksite meeting. In 1920, the meeting moved to Cheltenham and the meeting was renamed Cheltenham Monthly Meeting.
