Swarthmore Monthly Meeting was established in 1893 under Concord Quarterly, having been a college meeting on the grounds of Swarthmore College since 1863. In 1955, the meeting was transferred to Chester Quarterly. Though the meeting is located on the grounds of the college, it does not have an affiliation with the college.
